Description
This book is a satirical science fiction novel by the American author Kurt Vonnegut. The story is narrated by John, a writer who sets out to write a book about the day the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. His research leads him to the children of the bomb’s inventor, Dr. Felix Hoenikker, and to a fictional Caribbean island where a new, world-ending substance called “ice-nine” is discovered.
